Product Details
Core Characteristics
• High Selectivity: Affinity to metal ions in the order of strongest to weakest (from strongest to weakest): U(VI) > Pb²⁺ > Cu²⁺ > Zn²⁺ > Ni²⁺ > Cd²⁺ > Co²⁺ > Ca²⁺ > Mg²⁺ > Sr²⁺ > Ba²⁺ >> Na⁺.
• Monodisperse Advantages: Uniform particle size, strong mechanical/osmotic stability, fast exchange kinetics, and stable effluent quality (e.g., calcium can be reduced to < 10 ppb).
• pH-dependent capacity: The working capacity at pH 10 is approximately 3 times that at pH 8. • At pH 10 and Ca²⁺ 1–5 ppm, 1 L of resin can exchange approximately 14 g of Ca²⁺.
Typical Applications
• Chlor-alkali industrial brine purification: Removal of Ca²⁺, Mg²⁺, Ba²⁺, and Sr²⁺; protection of membrane electrolyzers.
• Influent pH 8–11, flow rate 20–30 BV/h, residual calcium < 10 ppb.
• Hydrometallurgy: Sb/Bi removal from copper electrolyte, uranium extraction from crude phosphoric acid, titanium removal from battery acid recovery, aluminum removal from urea solution.
• Wastewater treatment: Pb²⁺/Sr²⁺ removal from PCB wastewater, fluoride removal from fluoride-containing water (after aluminum doping), Fe²⁺/Ni²⁺/Zn²⁺ removal from metal processing fluids.
