Product Overview

This weakly acidic macroporous chelating cation exchange resin, with iminodiacetic acid (IDA) as its core functional group, is used for the selective removal/recovery of heavy metals and alkaline earth metals. It exhibits high selectivity, preferentially adsorbing heavy metals such as Cu, Pb, Ni, and Zn, and is tolerant of high calcium and magnesium backgrounds. Its wide range of applications includes electroplating rinse water, hydrometallurgy, heavy metal removal from wastewater, and groundwater remediation. Italso demonstrates good stability, being resistant to acids and alkalis, organic contamination, and possessing high mechanical strength.

Applications Include

Heavy metal removal in electroplating/chemical plating solutions, Cu, Ni, and Co recovery from mining/smelting wastewater, deep removal of lead, cadmium, and chromium from industrial wastewater, and heavy metal removal through groundwater/soil leaching and remediation.
