Pu/Am Adsorption Resin
Product Overview
The mainstream method for Pu/Am separation is extraction chromatography resin (extraction resin), with an inert polymer backbone loaded with extractants such as CMPO/TBP, TBP, and aminophosphonic acid. It is specifically designed for the selective adsorption of Pu⁴⁺ and Am³⁺ in nitric acid media , and is widely used in spent fuel reprocessing, nuclear waste disposal, and environmental sample analysis. It exhibits strong U/Pu retention and weak Am retention, making it suitable for separating U/Pu first and then recovering Am. It is resistant to high nitric acid concentrations (≤8 M), adaptable to spent fuel dissolution solution circulation, and suitable for continuous column operation.
