Uranium Adsorption Resin

Uranium Adsorption Resin

Product Overview

Uranium adsorption resins are a class of ion exchange/chelating resins specifically designed for the selective enrichment/separation of uranyl ions (UO₂²⁺) from uranium-containing aqueous solutions (mineral leaching solutions, nuclear wastewater, seawater, etc.). They are mainly classified into four categories: strongly basic anion exchange resins, strongly acidic cation exchange resins, chelating resins, and extraction chromatography resins. Industrial applications primarily use strongly basic anion exchange resins, while chelating/extraction chromatography resins are commonly used in nuclear analysis and high-purity preparation.

Typical applications include

Uranium mine in-situ leaching/heap leaching: enriching uranium in sulfuric acid/carbonic acid leaching solutions with a uranium recovery rate ≥99%, and preparing yellowcake.

Nuclear wastewater/nuclear waste treatment: removing radioactive uranium, with effluent uranium ≤0.05 ppm, meeting discharge standards.

Seawater uranium extraction: enriching low-concentration uranium (3 ppb) with high selectivity and resistance to salt interference.

Rare earth/uranium separation: preparing high-purity uranium salts with a separation coefficient ≥100.

Uranium mine tailings/slag: recovering residual uranium, maximizing resource utilization.
